One of the "founding fathers" of agricultural biotechnology, Dr. Robb Fraley oversees Monsanto Company's crop and seed agribusiness technology and research in facilities worldwide. At Monsanto, he has led research to develop biotech products that contain enhanced nutritional qualities and traits that help crops withstand environmental stress, including drought and new products to help farmers grow more food while reducing their use of chemical insecticides. He received a National Medal of Technology in 1999 for his groundbreaking work in agricultural biotechnology.
