Bill Nye the Science Guy at SLU

ST. LOUIS — Popular television host Bill Nye is coming to Saint Louis University to encourage students to change the world.

His talk at SLU will focus on global warming, sustainability and what students can do to promote a healthy longevity for planet Earth. Nye is a writer, mechanical engineer, professor, TV host and comedian. From 1992 to 1998, Nye wrote, produced and starred in the Emmy award-winning “Bill Nye the Science Guy” TV show. Today, he hosts “The 100 Greatest Discoveries” on the Science Channel and “The Eyes of Nye” on PBS. He also appears on the Weather Channel’s “The Climate Code” to discuss saving energy.

COST AND PARKING: The event is free and open to the public. Paid parking in the University garage located at Grand Boulevard and Laclede Avenue is available.

Note: JAS Parents need to attend with their students. Due to the size of this event, Academy staff will not able to chaperone.
