Demonstration at Washington University – Simulation Lab followed by Young Scientist Program!

Tuesday, July 21, 2009 @ 1:00 PM-2:30 PM

A demonstration of the new Simulation Lab at Washington University School of Medicine will be provided to Junior Academy students! See how doctors respond to emergency medical situations ranging from a collapsed lung, heart murmur, or an acute heart attack. An instructor controls the simulated symptoms via a computer in an observation area.

Following the simulation, a hands-on program will be provided by the Washington University doctoral students (WU Young Scientist Program). This is a great opportunity to work side-by-side with WU students who are the top in the nation, if not the world!
