Future Trek: Exploring the STEM in Communications Careers

Sessions available on a first-come, first-serve basis! Registration is required. Program is FREE and OPEN to ALL area students in grades 8-12. Preference given to Junior Academy and STEM Teens Leadership Council members. Students in grades 6-7 may also apply. Individual and home school students are welcome. Program can accommodate 75 students, or 5 groups of 15.
Students discover the science and tech side of Communications Careers through interactive and hands-on demonstrations in five fun, informative and interactive 35-minute classroom sessions with working communications professionals. Career explorations include sessions in exciting fields of study such as Animation, Audio Engineering, Game Design, Radio and Broadcasting, and Visual Effects. Students participate in an afternoon College Admissions Session and hear about campus life from a Webster University Student Panel.
Bring: Sack lunches. (Drinks provided by Webster University.) Sharpened pencils.
