Science of the Circus

Free and open to all. Space is limited. Registration required. This event is full – accepting wait list registrations only.

 

Curious about the physics of aerial arts and dance? How jugglers hone their craft? The mechanics of magic? Learn all this and more through presentations by professional ​scientists and ​performing artists. There will be opportunities for audience participation throughout! Don’t miss animal behaviorist, Nestle Purina’s Gail Czarnecki-Maulden, PhD, KPA-CTP, Licensed Family Paws Parent Educator, and her dog Sushi with demonstrations of scientifically-based dog training methods!

Stay after and try Aerial Silks! The first 20 to sign up following the program will have the opportunity to learn aerial arts through guided instruction.

3:15 pm – Program Begins
4:15 pm – Q&A
4:30 pm – Try It Out Aerial Arts
