Known as Gateway Greening’s outdoor office, Bell Demonstration Garden is a thriving community resource for urban gardening activities. It features a traditional community garden as well as 20 garden demonstration beds. Join us for a picnic lunch, hands-on activities and tour of Bell Garden and learn more about the roles insects and other invertebrates play in urban gardening. We’ll talk about how to manage pests by attracting beneficial organisms to the garden. Talk, tour and picnic lunch are outdoors, so dress appropriately!
