Star Party! Night of the Perseid Meteor Showers

Event is full.  Be prepared to stay up late – it’s the night of the Perseid Meteor Showers – an annual favorite!  RSVP today as space is limited for this small group who will stay at the cabins at the Shaw Nature Reserve.  Open to Junior Academy Students and their families (siblings over 7 years old welcome).  The speaker is Rich Heuermann, St. Louis Astronomical Society and former NASA Missouri Space Grant Consortium Outreach Coordinator.  Registration of $31 per person includes welcome supper, snacks, continental breakfast, lodging in historic air-conditioned log cabins, guided night hike and Night Sky program with high-powered telescope viewing!  Click here for more details and to register.
