Teens explore an array of college majors and minors and opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics at Virtual STEAM Nights with university students.

FREE and OPEN to ALL Teens Ages 13 – 18, Junior Academy of Science Members, and members of The Academy’s STEM Teens Youth Leadership Council.

Meet Your Mathematics Track STEAM Night Featured Speakers!


Andrew Wang
is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania planning to major in Economics. A native of St. Louis, MO, Andrew enjoys following sports, playing poker, and spending time with friends and family. Outside of the classroom, Andrew also plays ultimate frisbee, participates in the sports business club, and helps run the Student Federal Credit Union. Gabija Tonkunas is an Economics major at Vanderbilt University. She is currently an undergraduate researcher at Vanderbilt’s Medical Center working on a National Institutes of Health project concerning genetic and data privacy. She is also working on finance and marketing at Cress Health, a tech startup tackling healthcare worker wellness issues. In her free time, she likes to play volleyball, make handmade pasta, and watch movies.

Virtual STEAM Nights for Teens is a STEM Teens partnership opportunity of the Literacy Initiative and The Academy of Science – St. Louis. The Literacy Initiative was founded by Academy STEM Teens Leadership Council member Agha Haider. You can learn more about Agha HERE.
