-- coffee tasting and lecture

In 2008 in collaboration with local Kuva Coffee Company, the William L. Brown Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden brought Cafe Peru Chilchos from Peru's Chilchos Valley to Local Harvest Grocery here in St. Louis. This environmentally and economically sustainable coffee is grown without artificial fertilizers or chemicals under shade trees in the the Chilchos Valley's dense cloud forests.
