BrainWorks, a theatrical performance and future public television series, explores the wonders of the human brain by dramatizing real-life neurological cases to reveal the science behind the brain diseases Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, brain tumors, and stroke. This fascinating production is a collaboration between Washington University neurosurgeons Eric C. Leuthardt, M.D., Academy of Science - St. Louis Fellow and the Academy's 2007 Outstanding St. Louis Scientist Innovation Award recipient, and Albert H. Kim, M.D., Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and Nine Network of Public Media.
