A Junior Academy of Science Membership Overnight Event! View the night of the Perseid Meteor Showers! Looking for a great family activity before the kids head back to school? Want to get away, but don't want to drive over an hour? Wish you had a cabin in the country? Don't miss the Academy of Science - St. Louis Star Party! Speaker: Rich Heuermann, St. Louis Astronomical Society and NASA Solar System Program Ambassador, will provide an overview of the night sky. Be prepared to stay up late! Let's hope for good weather and a clear sky as Rich will bring his high-power telescopes! If it is a cloudy or rainy evening - don't worry - lots of inside activities planned! Bonus: Guided night hike & Geocaching!
