Honors Division Specifics Meeting
Interested in learning more about the Honors Divisions of the STL Science Fair? Sign up to attend the virtual Honors meeting. The Fair Director will go over all the paperwork requirements and the deadlines for the Honors Division. This meeting is open to students, teachers, and caregivers.

Registration for the 2027 STL Science Fair will be on the MySciFair platform.
We are excited about this platform because it brings back the Teacher Dashboard and allows teachers and caregivers to sign forms within the platform. No paper forms will be needed for the in-person fair; they will all be signed online! Another huge bonus of this platform: Once you have an account set up, you use the same one every year!

Registration for the Honors Division will close on January 31, 2027. Registration for the Regional Divisions will close on February 28, 2027.

Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS) Competition
โ[STS] is the nationโs oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school students.โ STS is open to all current 12th graders graduating in 2027. The application is open until November 5th.
Academy of Science St. Louis Junior Academy Application Opens September 1!
Apply to join the STL Junior Academy today! Open to all 8th-11th grade students attending St. Louis City and St. Louis County schools, this cohort program runs monthly sessions on research projects, during which participants have the chance to visit the labs of professional scientists and engineers. Attendance is required at six of the eight monthly sessions.
About the STL Science Fair
The STL Science Fair is hosted by The Academy of Science of St. Louis and since 1947, has historically been one of the largest science fairs in the US. The Academy of Science of St. Louis hosts the STL Science Fair to inspire, support, and celebrate the next generation of scientists
In 2026, the STL Science Fair displayed 1,120 projects from over 2,800 students representing 154 schools and we are excited for even more entries in 2027!!
Serving K-12 students from St. Louis City and St. Louis County, the STL Science Fair encourages scientific thinking, hands-on learning, and curiosity, providing opportunities for students to showcase their projects and receive feedback from local professional scientists. Students complete projects that investigate real-world problems using science and engineering solutions and compete for thousands of dollars in scholarships. Top competitors go on to represent St. Louis at the International Science and Engineering Fair.
